Beautiful, Burning Tree

Hope will be planted

Never will happen, because I know

That tongues of fire will swallow me alive

Is the truth I believe and to see

The world grow wiser and taller

Will never happen

Nightmares of destruction that haunt my dreams

Is a reality I await

Watching yellow, red, orange leaves bloom

Is a hopeless dream while

Obliteration is the future being carved.
